WASHINGTON–The National Association for Veterans Rights (NAVR) opposes the recent passage of Maine Legislative Document 2259 (ME LD 2259), as it strips Maine Veterans of the right to use NAVR member companies to help them secure their disability benefits, and is urging the Governor to veto the unconstitutional legislation.
A newly proposed piece of legislation, California Senate Bill 1124 (SB 1124), aimed at helping Veterans with their VA disability claims will in fact do the opposite, restricting their freedoms and leaving them with less help navigating a complicated system.
